Class Boundary/Examples/Age Classes
Examples of Class Boundaries
A special case of class boundaries concerns class intervals whose content consists of the ages of people.
The boundary between recording age $22$ and age $23$, for example, is actually the $23$rd birthday.
Hence a set of class intervals:
- $16 \le x < 18$
- $18 \le x < 23$
- $\ldots$
would have class boundaries:
- $16$
- $18$
- $23$
and so on.
