Mistake

The conjecture was proved in $2006$ by T.C. Hales.


Correction

Technically incorrect.

Annals of Mathematics accepted the proof presented by Thomas Callister Hales in $2005$, but there existed only $99\%$ certainty that it was correct.

The proof was finally declared complete and correct in August $2014$.
