Historical Note on Riesz-Fischer Theorem

The Riesz-Fischer Theorem was proved jointly by Ernst Sigismund Fischer and Frigyes Riesz.

Fischer proved the result for $p = 2$, while Riesz (independently) proved it for all $p \ge 1$.
