I am a student in the US on a F1 student visa, but I am currently in Europe. I will start my master's at the end of August, which means I am receiving a new I-20 that only allows me to enter 30 days prior to the start date.
I need to be back in the US June 25th for holidays. Can I get in the US in a Visa Waiver, which allows me to enter the US on June 25th as planned (as a tourist) and 30 days before classes begin, I will fly home back to Europe. A couple of days later I can then fly back to the US with the new dates on my I-20 for the Fall semester.
Is this possible?
