I currently hold a 2-year Business Visitor visa from Australia which I needed for a business trip last year.
Although I'm planning a visit to the USA (I already hold a B1/B2 visa, so that part is all good), several flights go to the US through Australia, would my visa be fine for transit?
Last year when I was at Melbourne Airport I tried to ask the border officers but none of them knew the answer (?!?!) and calling the immigration office was not helpful as they refused to answer and asked to me to go check with a immigration advisor (quite the overkill).
I know other people from the company went to the event on a tourist visa, but in my case I just want to transit to my next flight.
