My husband has a Tunisian passport and has to travel abroad soon. But when he received his passport, it came with slight damage to the cover, around the spine, as seen in the picture. It's a small tear/crack, under or around 1cm, and it's only on the cover. The page with the picture and data is in perfect condition, and so are the other pages. The passport is not biometric so I would assume this means that there is no chip to be read. Can he travel with this passport, or would it cause issues?
Also, I'm now aware that a similar question was asked, however, the damage on my husband's passport is not really the same and therefore I'm asking here for help for our particular situation. Thank you in advance!
