As you have tickets booked separately, for the first airline, your final destination is Thailand.
For this reason, you need to have paperwork which allows you to enter Thailand, even if you only intend to transit and stay airside. The airline usually won't let you board if you don't.
They don't care about further flights you may have (they have limited ways of checking that the ticket/booking is valid, that you have the right to enter the final destination of that flight, and certainly don't want to deal with the consequences of you missing your connection).
In your case, citizens of Turkmenistan need a visa to enter Thailand. You can apply for it online here.
