I have a friend that wants to come and spend some time with me in the U.S. from Russia. She has told me that in order to get her visa approved she has to show that she financial means while here with me. The amount is 1800$ that she is supposed to show the Travel agent and if she can't show that amount she will be denied for out of country travel for the period of 5 years. How much is fact or is all fiction?
