Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (IATA: DFW; ICAO: KDFW), located in between its namesake cities and north of Arlington, is one of the busiest airports in the world, and the main gateway to the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex in north-central , .

DFW's passenger facilities consist of five semi-circular terminal buildings labeled A-E, connected airside by the DFW Skylink people mover. DFW is the largest and most important hub of , which has a presence in all five terminals; other U.S. carriers mostly operate out of Terminal E, while foreign carriers and some low-cost carriers use Terminal D.

International Parkway is the main airport access road, connecting south of the airport to Texas State Highway 183 (Airport Freeway) and on the north to State Highway 114. DFW is the terminus of the DART Orange Line, the regional light rail service, with a station located between terminals A and B. Limited bus service is available from the Remote South Parking facility, where DART route 408 stops as well as a shuttle bus to the CentrePort/DFW Airport station, where Trinity Railway Express commuter trains operate to both Fort Worth T&P Station and Dallas Union Station.
