Questions about traveling through this region in South America.

Patagonia is a region in southern part of South America shared by Chile and Argentina. Given that it spans the entire continent East to West the Easternmost edge of the border is considered to be Carmen de Patagones and runs along the Colorado River in Argentina and ends at Valdivia in the West and all the way south to Tierra del Fuego.

The name Patagonia stems from the word patagon that Magellan used to describe its inhabitants, which by the European average height of the time 155cm were considered giants with average height being ~180cm.
