My business meeting was originally scheduled for the 15th, and my company got me a flight ticket arriving at 10pm on the 14th which was used for the Schengen visa application. As a result, the visa given to me is only valid starting on the 14th.

Now, the company said the meeting had to be moved up a day. So now I'm wondering if I can even change the flight ticket to arrive at 10pm on the 13th instead.

(1) Any chance border control will let me through or do I need to wait until the clock hits midnight on the 14th?

(2) Would the airline even give me a boarding pass if they see the flight is arriving on the 13th but the visa in my passport is only valid starting on the 14th (even if it's just a 2 hour difference?)

(3) Is it even feasible at this point to get the consulate to modify the visa for me with only a few days left?

(1) You might not be able to wait in the international area. If you are on the last flight of the day, they might be closing for cleaning, etc.

(2) The airline should not let you board, for the reasons listed above.

(3) Probably not.

Your best chance is to find a place with visa-free transit and to arrive with the first flight in the morning.
