Berlin-Tegel was the main hub of germanwings and air-berlin. The hexagonal main terminal building houses two concourses, labeled Terminal A and Terminal B. Terminal C and Terminals D/E are connected airside via walkways.
The now closed airport is located in the northwestern district of Reinickendorf, roughly 15km (9.3mi) from Alexanderplatz in the city centre. There are no direct rail connections.
