Questions tagged [nomad]

A person who does not stay long in the same place; a wanderer.

A nomad is a person who does not stay long in the same place, often travelling around different countries around the world. This person may not have any fixed address, or may be travelling for an extended length of time.

There is no defined length of time someone has to stay in each country, or be travelling for to be considered a nomad. Someone who spends years seeing every country is the same as someone who spends 3 months in Europe, the main consideration is often the lack of a fixed address.

Nomads are also often called a 'Digital Nomad' as it is common for these people to work online during their travels.

The type of questions expected to use this tag are those pertaining to people who are nomads, such as how to fill forms in which require fixed addresses (such as some visas), or how to get insurance to cover multiple locations.

More about the nomad lifestyle can be found out here or here.
