VFS Global, a subsidiary of Kuoni Travel and provider of administrative services in connection with visa applications, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Not to be confused with other uses of the VFS acronym: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VFS.

VFS (derived from Visa Facilitation Services) has been contracted by various governments for services that may include the collection of biometric data. In addition to governmental visa fees and standard VFS administration charges VFS might require extra for 'premium' services.

VFS personnel are not visa experts and play no role in the decision-making process.
