The country has a thriving economy with moderate growth and stable high income. Its political and tax climate has attracted quite a few foreign companies to establish their regional headquarters in Luxembourg. Luxembourg is also a significant player in the banking sector becoming the 2nd largest fund center and because of privacy laws an important private banking center in the Eurozone.
