The Republic of Estonia is a small country (45,227 km2) in Baltic region of Northern Europe. It is bordered to the north by the Gulf of Finland, to the west by the Baltic Sea, to the south by Latvia and to the east by Lake Peipus and Russia. Across the Baltic Sea lies Sweden in the west and Finland in the north.

Capitcal city is Tallinn, official language is Estonian, an Uralic language, closely related to Finnish.

The country has a population of about 1.3 million people, approximately 434.330 living in capital city.

Estonia is a member of the European Union, the Euro Area, the Schengen area.

Main airport is the Lennart Meri Tallinn airport, located close to downtown Tallinn.

Fun fact: both Estonian and Finland anthems have the exact same melody but different words.
